Conference Attendance

Applied Engineering Products Company exhibits the RE-LEM to a global market place. – August 2007

August 17, 2007 - Applied Engineering Products Company, Inc. (AEPCo) is proud to announce their participation in the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) Robotics conference in Washington DC, the world’s largest unmanned vehicle conference with worldwide attendance. Partnered with the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED), AEPCO exhibited our Robotic-Engineered Landmine Elimination Machine (RE-LEM). The conference was a success allowing us to make contact with several key individuals who are poised to support our efforts in de-mining, demilitarization, and security. During the conference, AEPCo witnessed demonstrations of unmanned air and ground vehicles currently used for security purposes with advanced mapping and photography capabilities important for identifying and eliminating unexploded ordnances (UXO) and improvised explosive devices (IED). AEPCO is currently investigating several autonomous technologies which could lead to decreased cost and increased versatility of our RE-LEM. Partnering with GOED, provides diversification of market territory and increases AEPCO’s presence in the international community. This strategic relationship allows AEPCO to leverage Utah’s political assets to improve global awareness of AEPCO’s products and services.

In May 2007, AEPCo participated in the International Defense, Aerospace, and Maritime Fair (IDEF) in Ankara, Turkey. Participation in the 2007 IDEF event provided AEPCO with the opportunity to develop cooperative agreements and identify key partners in the constantly changing defense industry. This year’s fair was exceptionally well attended by companies and individuals both marketing their products and conducting researching for future tender awards. Staying abreast of the latest equipment and technology of various countries’ armed forces benefits AEPCO’s possibilities in terms of procurement programs and international collaborations. Attendance of the show gave AEPCO the opportunity to introduce its products and services to military and government leaders who are key decision makers in upcoming tenders, AEPCO is responding to.

AEPCO presence at these key international exhibitions exposes AEPCO’s products and services to a multi-billion dollar global market. Providing visibility to international customers in need of complete de-mining, demilitarization and security solutions.
